This plant has the capability to process preprinted linerboard, which is paper (in roll form) that has been printed prior to being converted into corrugated sheets. Combining of preprint requires special equipment on a corrugator to assure precise cut-off.
Point-of-sale (POS) packaging is intended to serve both as a container and a sales tool to attract attention on the store shelf. It is usually printed with high-quality graphics and is typically the primary package that the consumer removes from the shelf and takes home with the product inside.
The process of adhering lithographically-printed sheets onto singleface corrugated material to produce a singlewall material. Litho lamination is a lower-volume alternative to preprinted linerboard for high-quality printed packaging.
Corrugated board made with a smaller flute profile, primarily E, F or N flute. Microflute is frequently used for primary packaging and provides for a smoother print surface.
A value-added service to provide development of packaging graphics. This service includes pre- and post-print expertise for flexographic and lithography printing.
The process of preparing digital files for print. This facility has the capability of performing these tasks in-house.
The Global Food Safety Initiative (GFSI) is an organization that establishes systems to benchmark food safety standards, including guidelines for food packaging manufacturers.
The in-house capability of developing the physical design and structural specifications for the corrugated packaging. Tools used include computer-aided design (CAD) software and performance modeling formulas.
