Our Tomahawk mill has two semi-chemical corrugating medium machines. Each machine can produce grades from 23# up to 40#. Typically, 23# and 26# are produced during the week, with the heavyweight grades running each weekend. With Tomahawk’s geographic location in northern Wisconsin, it has excellent access to customers in the greater Midwest.
PCA has the capacity to annually produce about 4.8 million tons of kraft linerboard (the outer layers of a corrugated container) and semi-chemical corrugating medium (the fluted center layer) for PCA’s own converting facilities, as well as for numerous domestic and international customers. All of PCA’s mills are Sustainable Forestry Initiative® (SFI)-certified.
