The Global Food Safety Initiative (GFSI) is an organization that establishes systems to benchmark food safety standards, including guidelines for food packaging manufacturers.
An international standard that specifies requirements for a quality management system. Organizations use the standard to demonstrate the ability to consistently provide products that meet customer and regulatory requirements.
The ability to produce bulk- or pallet-sized packaging. This requires specific equipment/production capabilities.
This plant has the capability to process preprinted linerboard, which is paper (in roll form) that has been printed prior to being converted into corrugated sheets. Combining of preprint requires special equipment on a corrugator to assure precise cut-off.
This plant has the knowledge and expertise to produce packaging that meets or exceeds regulatory requirements for transportation of hazardous materials.
The in-house capability of developing the physical design and structural specifications for the corrugated packaging. Tools used include computer-aided design (CAD) software and performance modeling formulas.
The ability to provide customers with a solution that addresses their complete supply chain. The process begins with the packaging design phase, proceeds through manufacturing and also includes providing expertise on the proper use of the corrugated products.
