One of the strengths of the Marshalltown facility is its longstanding relationships with companies in the food industry. To support these customers, Marshalltown holds a Food Safety Systems Certification (FSSC). Working closely with our specialty plant in Conrad, Iowa, there is no job too large or too small. This plant has the capability to process preprinted linerboard, which is paper (in roll form) that has been printed prior to being converted into corrugated sheets. Combining of preprint requires special equipment on a corrugator to assure precise cut-off.
