PCA Winter Haven has the flexibility to do everything from standard RSCs to common footprint packaging to point-of-purchase (POP) displays. Along with structural design, PCA Winter Haven offers specialty products and services such as preprint, four-color direct print, auto-lock boxes, specialty gluing and a mechanical packaging program. In addition to our PowerPly™ wax alternative, we have a dedicated wax cascading operation in nearby Lakeland. Working with both industrial and agricultural customers, PCA Winter Haven takes pride in doing the “hard to do,” and we are willing to put forth the extra effort needed to get things done.
Serving customers from Florida to Central America to South America, PCA Winter Haven provides complete packaging solutions, plus Miami-area warehousing and distribution for our South Florida customers.
The process of treating combined board by cascading molten paraffin wax or an environmentally friendly alternative over vertical box blanks so that it seeps down the flutes as well as over the facings. This process makes the box moisture resistant.
This plant offers quick turnaround times from when you place your order to when it is delivered.
Special coatings and/or adhesives can be used to assure that corrugated products will function under specific environmental conditions. Special adhesives can be applied to assemble the box, and special coatings may be added to the surface of the corrugated board.
Nearby PCA facilities are capable of producing your order in case of operational disruptions.
The Global Food Safety Initiative (GFSI) is an organization that establishes systems to benchmark food safety standards, including guidelines for food packaging manufacturers.
The in-house capability of developing the physical design and structural specifications for the corrugated packaging. Tools used include computer-aided design (CAD) software and performance modeling formulas.
This plant has the capability to process preprinted linerboard, which is paper (in roll form) that has been printed prior to being converted into corrugated sheets. Combining of preprint requires special equipment on a corrugator to assure precise cut-off.
An international standard that specifies requirements for a quality management system. Organizations use the standard to demonstrate the ability to consistently provide products that meet customer and regulatory requirements.
