Containerboard and corrugated products are essential to the nation’s supply chain, and paper products are necessary for businesses to function efficiently. Throughout the COVID-19 pandemic, PCA’s facilities have remained operational as part of our nation’s critical infrastructure. We are proud of our employees, who show up to work every day to manufacture quality packaging and paper products that ensure vital supplies are available on store shelves or are delivered intact to the consumer’s doorstep. We are also proud to manufacture packaging that is helping transport the COVID-19 vaccines to destinations across the United States.
As we look ahead, the pandemic will continue to challenge all of us — within our communities, our workplaces and our homes. We are grateful for the advances that have been made by our scientific and medical communities. The availability of vaccines, combined with other mitigation strategies, give us hope that we now have the tools to contain the pandemic. At PCA, we have been able to stay flexible, to adapt and to follow through on state and local requirements to keep our employees and our communities safe. We have continued to closely follow the guidelines from the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) and public health experts as we refine our approach to limiting the spread of the virus within our facilities.
Our utmost priority continues to be the health and safety of our employees, customers and members of the communities in which we operate. We have implemented procedures and safeguards at all our facilities to support the safety and wellbeing of our employees.
We are grateful to our dedicated employees across the country who are working in our mills, box plants and other facilities to ensure that our customers receive the corrugated packaging they need to safely transport their products to market and the paper products they need to stay operational. All of us at PCA are committed to doing our part in supporting our communities and contributing to the nation’s economic recovery.
