PCA is proud to support the arts across the United States — whether it’s the corporate office’s support of music education or a paper mill providing funding for a community art studio.
In recent years PCA’s headquarters in Lake Forest, Illinois, has been a proud supporter of Ravinia Festival’s Reach*Teach*Play program. Ravinia Festival is an outdoor concert venue located in suburban Chicago, and their Reach*Teach*Play program strives to ensure that Chicago’s children have access to free instruments, instructors, concerts and more. According to Ed Lees, a PCA Vice President, “We are thrilled to support Ravinia’s efforts to ensure that children in the Chicago area will continue to have access to music education.”
In January 2019, PCA’s full-line plant in Columbus, Indiana, made a generous donation to the Columbus Indiana Philharmonic. The CIP enhances the quality of life in their community through music offerings and education. Among other things, PCA's gift will go towards Strings Camp for kids and their Annual Fund Drive in support of ongoing operations.
Last year, PCA’s white paper mill in International Falls, Minnesota, became a sponsor of the Northland Art Society. Northland is an institution that was founded 1946 and provides local artists with the opportunity to gather and create art for the community. This sponsorship enables Northland’s community art studio to remain open, stocked and available at little or no cost to its members.
PCA is proud to support these three arts-centered organizations, as well as many others throughout the country.
