For the second year in a row, team members from PCA’s Lake Forest office gathered to package food for Feed My Starving Children (FMSC), a non-profit organization committed to feeding hungry children. The meals are specifically formulated for malnourished children, and they are shipped to the organization's distribution partners around the world. FMSC meals have reached nearly 70 countries.
Held as a holiday-season philanthropic outreach, the PCA team packed food at several stations alongside other volunteers, helping to make a difference in the lives of malnourished children globally.
According to one of the PCA participants: “Packing meals for malnourished children at Feed My Starving Children was a wonderful experience. A small packet of food can make the difference between life and death for a starving child. It felt good to give back, and it made me really appreciate all that I have.”
