The Corrugated Products Group conducts its Fourth Biennial
Employee Survey
January 4, 2008
Once every two years, every employee of the Corrugated Products
Group is asked to complete a brief survey. The survey consists
of eight statements that employees rank on a five point scale,
from "strongly agree" to "strongly disagree."
In the words of Bill Sweeney, Executive Vice President,
Once again, we need an update on
our progress to establish a Golden Rule work environment at
PCA. The basis of a Golden Rule work environment is respect
for individual human dignity.
This survey is a meaningful part
of our strategy to make you feel proud of being a part of PCA.
In addition to the survey's quantitative ratings, every employee
has an opportunity, and is encouraged, to include their personal
comments. To ensure candid and honest feedback, the survey is
anonymous.
Mr. Sweeney instituted the Employee Survey in January of 2002.
He was inspired to create a unique measurement tool for PCA's
Golden Rule work environment after reading Loyalty Rules
by Frederick F. Reichheld. PCA compares its results to other U.S.
businesses, as well as "loyalty leaders," or companies
that are "best in class".
