PCA Honored with the TOP CAT Award

Cordes Porcher, Graphics Coordinator at Packaging Corporation of America was awarded the TOP CAT Award during a the Department Graphics Communications Honors & Awards Banquet.

The TOP CAT Award was presented at Clemson University. The award recognizes individuals that have made a long-term commitment and have continually supported Clemson University's Graphic Communications Department. Porcher was recognized for the time and commitment he invested to grow Clemson's corrugated training program and build it into a top training site for both students entering the corrugated field as well as a place to advance industry research, testing and continued education.

"Cordes Porcher helped define our corrugated program for the future and helped build it into one of the best in the industry. He has the highest commitment to training and has aided our current training staff to continue that tradition of success" said Department chair Dr. Sam Ingram.

PCA and other companies that were involved in such a program were thanked for having allowed their employees to participate in Clemson's programs.
