Community outreach is an integral part of our culture at PCA. Our employees believe that together, our efforts can help make a difference. On Tuesday, July 9, PCA hosted a corporate event in Boston, Massachusetts. In honor of the victims of the Boston Marathon bombings, attendees formed teams to assemble wheelchairs that were then donated to the Spaulding Rehabilitation Center, where many of the bombing victims were treated.
The Spaulding Rehabilitation Hospital is a recognized leader in its field and is ranked among the top rehabilitation hospitals in the United States. They offer world-class care though their network of six inpatient facilities and 23 outpatient centers. Their mission is to provide exceptional clinical care, promote medical education and advance research.
Twelve wheelchairs were assembled with care and donated by PCA. Our employees took great pride in assembling the wheelchairs and were honored to help.
